Further strengthening our presence in Germany
2024.03.13
We’re very glad to welcome Dagmar Bottenbruch and Richard Jansen to the PCP family to further strengthen our presence in the German speaking European direct lending market. This region has been core to us since the foundation of PCP as we share a common culture and practise for building strong businesses. Furthermore, many German Mittelstand companies are owned by entrepreneurs or families with an almost eternal time perspective on their ownership, which fully aligns with our strategy as a long-term financial partner.
Dagmar joins PCP as Senior Advisor and brings profound experience and track record from investing in, governing and operating companies in structural growth as well as from banking and financial advisory. Her most recent assignment was as Co-Head of Silicon Valley Bank in Germany. She lives in Frankfurt and has dual citizenships in both Germany and the US.
Richard joins PCP as Origination Director with focus on Germany and Benelux. Richard brings tonnes of experience from funding businesses in the transportation and logistics industries. Prior to joining PCP, Richard was responsible for Braemer Corporate Finance in London, Global Co-head of Deutsche Bank’s Transportation franchise as well as MD at DZ Bank’s shipping division in Germany and the US. He lives in London and is a Dutch citizen.
Since PCP’s inception, we have funded 23 German companies with 650 MEUR in a wide array of industries and situations – numbers which we intend to increase significantly in the coming years.
