P Capital welcomes Maria Orrgard as General Counsel

After collaborating with Maria Orrgard as an external counsel for many years, it’s a pleasure to announce she is now joining P Capital Partners as our first General Counsel.

"Maria will bring a huge amount of value to the P Capital Partners team," says Petra Elväng, Deputy CEO.

Our commitment to funding family and entrepreneurial businesses and keen focus on sustainable solutions drew Maria from her previous law firm role, where she advised on a wide range of financing matters including distressed scenarios, fund financing and corporate lending, with a particular focus on debt funds.

“I’m especially looking forward to working closely with the investment teams across the three different strategies—corporate, transition, and growth, “ explains Maria, who has a strong background in highly structured deals and leveraged financing. “I wanted to return to working more closely with the business team, and this role provides the opportunity to be involved in everything from investments to fund formation.”

As General Counsel, Maria will collaborate with our investment teams during the underwriting and monitoring phases, as well as identifying opportunities in transactions and organisational matters.
